The Managing Committee shall consist of the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary, the Joint Secretary, the Treasurer, and two or more Members of the General Body elected by the General Body once in 3 years at the meeting of the General Body.
The Managing Committee of 7 Members of the Association is as follows for the first 3 years from 24-06-2016, the date of Registration of the Association.
It is open to the Managing Committee to nominate additional Members for the first 3 years. It is also open to the Managing Committee to nominate any office - bearer(s) in the event of any vacancy arising in the first 3 years. The Managing Committee shall continue in office until the next Managing Committee is elected at the Annual General Body Meeting of the Association after 3 years. The office bearers of the Managing Committee are eligible for re-election.
The President presides over meetings of the Managing Committee. In his absence, the Vice-President presides over the meetings. If the president or the Vice-President is absent, the Secretary or the Treasurer presides over the meetings.
The President is the Head of the Association, and the Secretary is its Chief Executive. The President is to delegate such functions as considered necessary to the Vice-President, the Joint-Secretary or any other Executive of the Association in consultation with the Managing Committee.
The Managing Committee may constitute such Sub-Committees, as it considers fit, to discharge the functions of the Association in its best interests.
The Managing Committee is empowered to raise resources for the Association in accordance with law from philanthropic institutions, companies, general public, the members of the Association, etc. It may accept donations to run its activities.
The Managing Committee is entitled to sue and be liable to be sued for the functioning of the Association in the discharge of its duties.
The Managing Committee may co-opt Members of the General Body or outsiders in the discharge of its functions generally or specifically. The Managing Committee is to make payment of such honorarium or remuneration for the services rendered by its employees, outsiders etc.
It is to prepare the budget for the ensuing year and submit it to the General Body for approval. It is also to prepare the accounts and get them audited. It is to submit the accounts and the report of the auditors to the Annual General Body meeting within the stipulated period according to law.
It is to undertake all activity to achieve the aims and objectives of the Society as set forth in the Memorandum of Association.
The Secretary is to maintain records of the Society and be responsible for the day to day functioning of the Association.
